Welcome, let’s get to know each other!

I want my first post to be a welcome post and to give you some more information about me, EJ YarnKnots.

First, my name is actually Elizabeth Jane, although I do love the sound of EJ YarnKnots. I am married to a wonderful and supportive husband. We have two amazing children. Whom are growing up much too fast, they are no longer really children but rather young adults. My family is my world followed by crochet!

Secondly, I love everything about crocheting and hope you will share in that love. Here I hope to provide a source of information about crochet patterns, yarns and other tips and tricks I have learned over the past several years. My own crochet journey started about five years ago and oh my gosh did I struggle. I found myself ready to give up. Sure there were plenty of how-to YouTube videos, but no one helping me navigate through it all. That is one of the most important things I hope this blog will do for beginners. Give you the tools to know which patterns you should try, which ones are for maybe a bit of an advanced beginner, and which ones I would stay away from while learning the basics. As well as some of my favorite YouTuber’s that I still follow.

So, lets grab a hook, a drink and talk crochet!
