Wow, it has been a busy week. I wasn’t able to get as much crochet time as I would have liked, but I did get a new project started. A C2C, corner to corner, blanket! It is my first time making one, which is great because I am learning with some of you.
The C2C blanket is one I was avoiding because I thought it would be too complicated for me, and boy was I wrong. I love this pattern. There are a ton of YouTube videos out there that walk you through it. Once you have it down, you will love how fast it feels like this blanket works up.
The only tricky parts were at the beginning and ending of rows. On the first half of the blanket, you are increasing, and in the second half, you are decreasing. Here is a great video to watch that will help you by The Purple Pancho.
Once you have watched the video, you will see that it isn’t that hard at all. I wish I had given this pattern a try earlier. Sure, most work it up nicely with multi-colored yarn, but I love it in this solid color.

So grab your hook and give this pattern a try. It is very beginner-friendly and works up beautifully no matter which type of yarn you choose.
Until next time, Happy Crocheting!!
